Who are we?
Meet Pastor Cordell and Erin Hines
Pastor Cordell and Erin Hines have pastored for over 30 years together. They have three grown children: Bethany (28) lives in Colombia as a global worker with the Assemblies of God, ministering to an unreached people group; Ashleigh (24) currently lives in Oklahoma City and works at the Oklahoma State Capitol as a Legislative Assistant; and Wesley (23) who lives and works, along with his wife DeAudra, in New Jersey, raising the Hines’ only grandchild, two-year-old Ireland.
Pastor Cordell and Erin have pastored New Life Church in Henryetta, OK, since December of 2020. Before coming to Henryetta, they pastored in Tishomingo, OK, for seven years, in Olathe, CO, for 22 years, and in Comanche, TX, for two years.
Pastor Cordell is originally from Olathe, CO. He graduated from Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) in Waxahachie, TX, with a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministry and Biblical Studies in 1990 and a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership in 2016. He is currently pursuing a 2nd Master of Arts in Rural Ministries from Trinity Graduate School in Ellendale, ND.
Erin is originally from Texas. She graduated from SAGU in Waxahachie, TX, with an Associate of Arts in Church Ministries in 2022 and is a Licensed Minister with the Assemblies of God. She enjoys leading worship, which she has done at Olathe Assembly of God, Tishomingo First Assembly of God, and now here at New Life Church. She is passionate, energetic, and loves people.
Together, Pastor Cordell and Erin enjoy traveling and exploring new places. Collectively, they have travelled to 36 states and nine countries in their lifetimes, in many of which they have been involved with missions work.
Pastor Cordell and Erin love people, God’s Word, and their family. They truly have a pastor’s heart for the people of New Life Church, Henryetta, and the surrounding community.
